Messe Frankfurt Middle East is seeking a dynamic Show Director to lead Beautyworld KSA, driving sales, revenue, and industry relationships while ensuring the event's success. This is a senior leadership role requiring strategic vision, sales expertise, and the ability to manage high-profile exhibitions in Saudi Arabia's rapidly growing beauty sector.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales & Business Development
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Build strong relationships with key industry players, trade associations, and government agencies.
- Explore new revenue streams, sales networks, and business opportunities.
- Oversee exhibitor bookings, ensuring seamless administration and reporting.
Event Management & Growth
- Lead the overall planning and execution of Beautyworld KSA, ensuring its growth and market relevance.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for expansion.
- Collaborate with the marketing and conference teams to drive audience engagement and sponsorship sales.
- Develop show floor plans strategically to maximize exhibitor experience and revenue potential.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting clear KPIs and growth plans.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with global sales agents and key stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal departments (Marketing, Operations, Finance, IT) to ensure seamless event execution.
Financial & Budget Management
- Develop realistic budget forecasts, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
- Monitor sales performance, providing regular reports and risk assessments to senior management.
- Oversee exhibitor promotional marketing and PR budgets to drive awareness and participation.
On-Site Event Execution
- Ensure a smooth exhibitor and visitor experience from build-up to teardown.
- Coordinate VIP arrangements, exhibitor services, and sales partner engagement.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- 5+ years in sales management and exhibitions.
- 3+ years in a leadership position.
- Strong understanding of the beauty industry and event sales strategies.
