Role Description The Showroom Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm 1st Nasser City. This role is responsible for welcoming customers to the showroom, understanding their needs, and guiding them through Homix's furniture, décor, lighting, and home supply offerings to support confident purchase decisions. Day-to-day tasks include presenting product features and benefits, creating appealing room concepts, preparing quotations, processing orders, and coordinating with the ecommerce team to ensure accurate product information and availability. The Showroom Sales Specialist will handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain a clean, well-organized showroom that reflects the Homix brand. This role also involves meeting sales targets, updating customer records, and providing feedback on customer preferences and trends to support merchandising and marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- Experience working in showrooms or retail environments, with a focus on home furniture, décor, or related products.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to actively listen, explain product details clearly, and build rapport with diverse customers.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, including problem-solving, handling inquiries, and ensuring positive, supportive experiences before and after sales.
- Proven sales skills, including consultative selling, upselling, closing deals, and working toward individual or team sales targets.
- Interest or background in interior design, space planning, or visual merchandising to help customers imagine and create cohesive room layouts.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using POS systems, inventory tools, and online platforms to manage orders and customer information.
- Ability to work on-site full-time, including weekends or extended hours as needed for showroom operations.
- Prior experience in home retail or interior design and a relevant diploma or degree in business, design, or a related field is an advantage.
