Your role
Are you experienced in regulatory compliance and risk management, with a strong understanding of the evolving regulatory landscape in Singapore and APAC Do you have the ability to interpret regulatory developments and provide clear direction to stakeholders across the firm
We are looking for a Head of Regulatory Management to lead the Singapore function within C&ORC. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing regulatory developments, providing guidance on their implications, and ensuring effective governance and engagement with regulators.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Regulatory monitoring and interpretation
Oversee the monitoring of regulatory developments and emerging issues relevant to the firm
Provide direction and challenge on impact assessments, ensuring consistency and appropriate interpretation of regulatory expectations
Support the identification of key regulatory themes, risks and priorities for the firm
- Regulatory engagement and incident oversight
Act as a central point of coordination for engagement with Singapore regulators
Oversee the management and escalation of regulatory breaches, incidents and self-reporting obligations
Ensure communication with regulators and senior management is timely, balanced and well-articulated
- Governance and management reporting
Lead the preparation and delivery of regulatory updates to Singapore and APAC management committees
Provide insights on regulatory developments, supervisory focus areas and associated risks
Support senior stakeholders in understanding implications and considerations arising from regulatory changes
- Regulatory frameworks and oversight
Oversee the maintenance of the Singapore obligation register
Ensure clarity of ownership and accountability for regulatory obligations across divisions and control functions
Promote a consistent and disciplined approach to regulatory governance and documentation
Lead, coach and develop a small team within Regulatory Management
Ensure effective prioritisation and delivery across the team
Maintain a collaborative and structured working environment

Your team
You will lead the Regulatory Management team within Compliance and Operational Risk Control (C&ORC) in Singapore. The team is responsible for monitoring regulatory developments and coordinating firm-wide awareness and response through engagement with relevant stakeholders.
The function has a cross-divisional remit covering Investment Bank, Global Wealth Management, Global Asset Management and Group Functions, requiring close collaboration with business and control partners.
Your expertise
You have:
- at least 10 years experience within the financial services industry, with a focus on regulatory compliance, risk management or control frameworks
- Strong understanding of the Singapore regulatory environment, with awareness of broader APAC developments
- Experience in regulatory engagement, including dealing with regulatory enquiries or incidents
- Demonstrated ability to guide or develop team members and work effectively across stakeholders
- You're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
