Job Purpose
The Site Acquisition Manager is responsible for researching and identifying potential sites based on customer requests and negotiating options and lease agreements for chosen sites. The position will oversee specific leasing operations and ensure accuracy and clarity at all stages of the process while acting as a key point of contact for landlords, the surrounding community, and other external stakeholders. They are also responsible for managing the many day to day site acquisition activities (e.g., leasing negotiations and zoning requirements) and will lead a team of Site Acquisition Specialists.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead site identification, qualification, and leasing negotiation services for TASC tower sites.
- Work with technical teams to conduct site visits and ensure technical specifications are in line with TASC protocols and requirements.
- Oversee leasing operations and ensure assignment and scheduling of work meets company targets.
- Work closely with the Colocation Manager and the Commercial Department to locate easily buildable sites that meet the customer's coverage needs.
- Coordinate work with the Company's Legal Department to ensure leases comply with Company standards and policies.
- Facilitate the completion of relevant permit and zoning documentation for submission to government regulatory bodies.
- Obtain landlord approval on construction drawings and permit applications when necessary.
- Identify potential site issues and propose solutions.
- Understand company scheduling and output targets and oversee subcontractors and vendors to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
- Lead and direct a team of Site Acquisition Specialist by allocating tasks and monitoring their performance.
- Maintain accurate status information on all aspects of site acquisition and be able to communicate site status through reports, meetings, and other company communication mediums.
- Perform any relevant tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, Real Estate or a related discipline
- Master's Degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in wireless telecommunication site acquisition
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Middle East market
