Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Civil Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience to join our engineering and projects team. The successful candidate will supervise on-site construction activities, ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards, and assist in managing project execution. This role combines hands-on engineering with project coordination responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily on-site construction activities to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor contractors work to ensure compliance with project schedules, technical standards, and safety protocols.
- Review and approve shop drawings and technical submissions.
- Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare periodic technical reports, quantity statements, and progress invoices for management.
- Coordinate with safety and quality teams to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Identify and resolve site engineering issues, proposing practical solutions.
- Attend meetings with management, consultants, and contractors to report progress and coordinate project activities.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction, structural design, or project management.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a project management or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, and Primavera or MS Project.
- Strong understanding of local and international codes and standards (e.g., ACI, BS).
- Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
