Job Summary
The Civil Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and coordinating all civil construction activities at the Logistics Park project in Port Said. The role ensures that construction works are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals before implementation.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Identify construction issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Verify quantities completed and support the preparation of payment certificates.
- Participate in project planning and scheduling activities.
- Monitor manpower, equipment, and material utilization to optimize productivity.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical updates to project management.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Coordinate with MEP and infrastructure teams to avoid construction conflicts.
- Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Registered with the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction projects.
- Previous experience in logistics parks, industrial developments, warehouses, ports, infrastructure, or large-scale commercial construction projects is highly preferred.
- Experience working in Port Said or similar industrial/logistics environments is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, steel structures, roads, pavements, drainage, and infrastructure works.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with Egyptian Building Codes and international construction standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is an advantage.

Working Conditions
- Based full-time at the Logistics Park Construction Project in Port Said.
- Frequent outdoor work in construction site conditions.
- May require extended working hours to meet project deadlines.
