Site Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to join our team immediately for a 400 kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHL) Project in Kuwait.

Project: 400 kV Overhead Transmission Line

Location: Kuwait

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in similar HV/OHL projects

Joining: Immediate

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities for transmission line tower foundations.
• Manage and monitor excavation, foundation preparation, reinforcement, formwork, concreting, grouting, and backfilling works.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, surveyors, consultants, and other project disciplines.
• Review civil and structural drawings and identify discrepancies or technical issues.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and approvals with the client/consultant.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship.
• Monitor daily site progress and manpower productivity.
• Prepare daily and weekly site reports and maintain proper site records.
• Coordinate with the Planning Engineer regarding progress and upcoming activities.
• Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements during all civil activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil works for similar HV overhead transmission line projects.
• Experience with transmission tower foundations is mandatory/preferred.
• Experience in 400 kV projects is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of excavation, reinforcement, concrete works, foundations, surveying, and site execution.
• Ability to read and interpret civil/structural drawings and specifications.
• Strong site supervision, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site activities effectively.
• Immediate availability is mandatory.
