ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Site Construction Inspector to support the delivery of a major cultural project in Riyadh, operating within a complex and demanding cultural environment. This role is focused on the later-stage fit-out and delivery phases of the project, requiring a detail-oriented professional capable of ensuring on-site works meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
This role offers the chance to get hands-on with a flagship cultural project, guiding it from critical execution through to handover.
Role Overview
The Site Inspector will be based on-site full time, responsible for day-to-day inspection and quality assurance activities to ensure works are executed in line with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process Work Inspection Reports (WIRs).
- Conduct material delivery inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
- Review and approve material samples.
- Review Shop Drawings for accuracy and conformance.
- Attend and contribute to site meetings.
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams to flag and resolve quality or compliance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and site activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant museum/exhibition project experience is essential.
- Prior experience as a Site Inspector or in a similar site-based QA/QC role.
- Strong understanding of construction inspection processes, material verification, and shop drawing review.
- Ability to work full-time on-site, Sunday to Thursday.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with site teams and attending meetings.
Profile
- Engineering Degree (Civil Engineering, Construction).
- Experience with fit-out or specialized construction environments (e.g., cultural, museum, or exhibition spaces).
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Fluent both in English and Arabic.
