We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Site Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. With a strong track record in managing large scale construction projects, coordinating teams, and delivering high-quality results on time.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and monitor progress to mitigate risks and address issues proactively.
- Allocate resources efficiently and ensure all materials and equipment are available as needed.
- Supervise, lead, and motivate the subcontractor teams, including foremen, and workers to ensure the project runs smoothly.
- Act as the primary point of contact between your team and the main contractor for day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate with the main contractor and other subcontractors to integrate your scope of work within the overall project.
- Organize and conduct regular site meetings to review project progress and address any issues or concerns.
- Ensure effective communication between all stakeholders, including senior management, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and standards in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor the quality of work, ensuring it complies with safety protocols and project specifications.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management for interim payment application.
- Review project drawings and specifications to understand the scope of work and identify potential challenges.
- Ensuring completion of works within the time duration for each specific project
- Ensure all required documentation, such as work permits, safety compliance records, and inspection reports, is up to date.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project management best practices. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction field.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- In depth knowledge of safety regulations and local building codes (UAE specific knowledge preferred).
- Strong understanding of construction processes specific to subcontracting and coordination with main contractors.
- Experience in Structural Works
