We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer – Joinery to oversee and manage on-site installation of joinery works, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. The role involves coordination with factory production, subcontractors, and project teams across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise installation of joinery works (doors, wardrobes, kitchens, wall paneling, cabinetry).
- Ensure all works are executed as per approved shop drawings and project specifications.
- Monitor daily site activities and progress against schedule.
Coordination & Planning
- Coordinate with factory production team for material delivery and readiness.
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
Quality Control
- Inspect materials and installation works to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Identify defects and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure finishing meets client and consultant expectations.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all site activities comply with HSE standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety checks and enforce PPE usage.
- Coordinate with HSE team for inspections and compliance.
Technical & Documentation
- Review shop drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.
- Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) where required.
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- Should have at least 4 years of experience in joinery or fit-out projects.
- Proven experience in site supervision of joinery installations.
- UAE project experience preferred.
