Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled
Site Engineer – Light Current to oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of ELV systems at our project in the New Administrative Capital. The ideal candidate will ensure all site activities are executed according to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines while coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site activities for Light Current (ELV) systems.
- Manage installation works for systems including:
- CCTV
- Access Control
- Fire Alarm
- Structured Cabling
- Public Address (PA)
- Intrusion Alarm
- Intercom
- Ensure work is executed according to approved shop drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other disciplines on site.
- Monitor site progress and prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
- Inspect installation quality and ensure compliance with project standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and system handover activities.
- Review material deliveries and ensure proper utilization on site.
- Raise RFIs and report technical issues to the Technical Office and Project Manager.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and company procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in Light Current/ELV projects.
- Experience working on large-scale commercial or governmental projects is preferred.
- Good understanding of international standards related to ELV systems.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Strong knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
