Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to oversee and manage site activities for construction projects. The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in site supervision, execution, and coordination of civil works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, plan, and execute all site civil works according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure the smooth coordination between different trades and subcontractors.
- Inspect site work to ensure compliance with approved drawings, materials, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and clients for technical approvals and inspections.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
- Ensure safety protocols and site housekeeping are maintained at all times.
- Assist in quantity take-offs, material requisitions, and resource planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any site-related technical issues or design conflicts.
- Verify and certify subcontractor works and bills.
- Support the project team in achieving project milestones and timely completion.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 37 years of experience in site execution within construction or contracting companies (building, infrastructure, or fit-out projects).
- Strong technical knowledge of civil works, materials, and construction methods.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong commitment to quality, safety, and timely delivery.
- UAE driving license (preferred).
