Position: Site Engineer – Civil (Substation)
Job Purpose
The Site Engineer – Civil will support site execution activities for substation projects, ensuring construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings, DEWA standards, quality requirements, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and project teams.
- Monitor site progress and report updates to management.
- Ensure compliance with DEWA standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
- Assist in resolving technical and operational site issues.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and site resources.
- Maintain site records and engineering documentation.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned project activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in civil construction projects.
- Experience in substation projects within the UAE is mandatory.
- DEWA approval is mandatory.
- Good understanding of civil site execution and utility project requirements.
- Familiarity with UAE safety and quality standards.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Candidate must currently be available in the UAE.
