We are seeking a skilled Piling Site Engineer to oversee technical and on-site engineering activities for piling and shoring projects. The role is responsible for ensuring quality, safety, and full compliance with design specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Review design drawings and prepare method statements
- Supervise pile drilling, casing, reinforcement, and concreting works
- Coordinate with surveyors to ensure accurate pile positioning
- Conduct QA/QC checks (verticality, depth, concrete testing)
- Prepare daily/weekly progress reports
- Identify and resolve on-site technical issues
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical and foundation engineering
- Ability to supervise teams and manage technical challenges effectively
- Good communication and reporting skills
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering
- 5–7 years of experience in piling or foundation works
- Approval from DM / RTA is an advantage
- Safety certification is an advantage
