Job Description

Job Summary

The Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of construction activities on site. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and a commitment to safety and quality. The Site Manager will report directly to the Project Director and collaborate closely with project teams to ensure successful project delivery within budget and schedule.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee all on-site activities, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement detailed site-specific project plans, including work schedules, resource allocation, and quality control procedures.
  • Coordinate and manage the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential challenges, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and motivate the site team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment to address any problems that arise.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, ensuring they meet contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities and resolve disputes.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and payment schedules.
  • Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to site personnel.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for the site team.
  • Manage employee relations and address any issues promptly.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures throughout the project.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports and financial updates.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Provide regular project updates to the Project Director.
  • Address and resolve conflicts and issues in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous SEC Approval as a Site Manager
  • 710 years of experience in site management
  • PMP Certification
  • Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Computer skills: MS Office, MS Project, Primavera P6
