Site Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, material submittals, and work plans.
• Supervise site installation of HVAC, central air-conditioning, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, and other project activities.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved designs and project requirements.
• Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and report risks or delays.
• Support testing, commissioning, inspections, and project handover.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and technical documentation.
• Enforce site safety procedures and recommend practical design or process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering .
• Experience supervising mechanical works on construction, renovation, or building-services projects.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, central air-conditioning, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and use CAD tools.
• Working knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and site safety requirements.
• Strong coordination, project-management, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Good English communication skills, Arabic is an advantage.
