Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of all building projects within the company, ensuring that all projects, including high-rise towers and luxury developments, are executed efficiently, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position manages a team of Project Directors (PDs) and Project Managers (PMs), ensuring seamless coordination and the successful delivery of all projects. The role demands a dynamic leader with significant experience in both high-rise tower construction and luxury developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Oversight and Management:

  • Oversee the execution of various building projects, including high-rise towers, luxury developments, and other complex constructions.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered within scope, on time, and on budget, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead PDs and PMs to maintain the highest standards of construction, ensuring alignment with project goals, specifications, and company objectives.
  • Oversee all project phases, from design through construction and handover, ensuring smooth coordination among teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Leadership & Team Management:

    • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to Project Directors and Project Managers.
    • Set performance expectations for PDs and PMs, conducting regular reviews and offering professional development opportunities.
    • Lead regular project meetings to assess progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
    • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the operations team.

    Budget and Financial Control:

    • Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure that projects stay within financial parameters, ensuring effective cost control and profitability.
    • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to optimize resource allocation, manage costs, and maximize project efficiency.
    • Review financial reports and ensure proper approval of project-related costs, including invoices and payments

    Quality and Compliance:

    • Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations, with particular attention to high-rise tower requirements.
    • Lead quality assurance efforts across all projects, with a focus on maintaining luxury standards and best practices.
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies to anticipate and mitigate potential issues across projects.

    Reporting and Communication:

    • Provide the Executive Director with detailed reports on project performance, including budget, timelines, risks, and milestones.
    • Ensure timely and effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and clients.
    • Regularly update key stakeholders on project status and address any concerns or changes in scope or direction.

    Client and Stakeholder Relations:

    • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients, architects, developers, and other stakeholders.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Manage client expectations and handle any disputes or issues that arise in a professional and timely manner.

    Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement:

    • Contribute to the development of strategic goals for the company's growth and expansion in luxury and high-rise construction.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and innovation to increase operational efficiency.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in construction management and apply them to the company's operations.

    Key Skills and Qualifications:

    • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED) is a plus.
    • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management within the construction industry, including significant hands-on experience with high-rise towers and luxury projects.
    • Proven track record of leading teams of Project Directors and Project Managers, overseeing the successful completion of multiple large-scale projects.
    • Expertise in construction processes, project management methodologies, and working with luxury standards.
