Site Reliability Engineer / AMS Support Engineer - Digital Healthcare
Our client, a leading global healthcare technology company, is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer / Application Management Services (AMS) Support Engineer to join their innovative team.

What You Will Bring
- Minimum of 4+ years experience in Application Management Services (AMS), integration engineering, application support, or application lifecycle management roles
- Proven experience supporting complex healthcare applications and platforms in production environments
Technical Skills
Health Information Exchange (HIE) & Interoperability
- Hands-on experience supporting large-scale HIE environments, including national or regional healthcare platforms
- Ability to troubleshoot and validate end-to-end healthcare messaging workflows across multiple systems
- Strong understanding of clinical data standards and healthcare interoperability concepts
Messaging Standards
- HL7 v2.x experience parsing, debugging, mapping, and monitoring transaction flows
- HL7 v3 / CDA solid understanding of message structures and data validation
- FHIR hands-on experience working with resources, APIs, and resolving data exchange issues
Integration & Middleware
- Experience supporting integration engines and middleware platforms
- Strong skills in diagnosing failed transactions, message queues, and interface errors
- Ability to analyze logs, payloads, and transformation logic to identify and resolve issues efficiently
Databases
- Intermediate experience with relational databases (Oracle preferred; SQL Server beneficial)
- Ability to write and troubleshoot basic to intermediate SQL queries for investigation and root-cause analysis
Automation & Configuration
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools (exposure to Ansible is an advantage)
- Comfortable working with XML and JSON for application configuration and system integrations
Programming & Scripting
- Intermediate-level proficiency in JavaScript, Java, or Python
- Intermediate-level Linux shell scripting skills to support operational, monitoring, and maintenance activities
Nice to Have (Bonus)
- Exposure to Clinical Data Repositories (CDR) or population health platforms
- Experience with Rhapsody or equivalent healthcare integration engines
- Experience supporting 24/7 production environments within healthcare or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with ITIL-based AMS processes (incident, problem, change, and release management)
