General Description
Under general supervision, performs and assists with all phases of rigging up and rigging down PPS service line equipment at work locations to support pre-commissioning and maintenance operations. Executes low to intermediate complexity PPS projects while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant field operations.
- Perform or assist with rig-up and rig-down of PPS service line equipment on location.
- Execute low and intermediate complexity PPS projects.
- Conduct pre-job and post-job equipment inspections and complete required documentation.
- Load PPS equipment onto trucks at the workshop and work sites.
- Ensure all PPS equipment arrives on location and visually inspect for damage.
- Perform function tests, pressure tests, and operate PPS equipment on site.
- Communicate project objectives to PPS personnel on location.
- Maintain equipment readiness for upcoming jobs.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards at all work locations.
- Drive trucks or other assigned equipment as required.
- Promote safety awareness and environmental responsibility.
- Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor PPS operators and assistant operators.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in PPS operations.
- Proven ability to operate PPS equipment.
- Experience operating three operators and pumps simultaneously.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
- Completion of all required training courses for the position.
- Valid Defensive Driving certification.
