Site Supervisor – Railway Project

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team for a major Railway Project The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities, coordinating site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on the railway project.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure works are executed according to the approved programme.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, workers, and site teams.
  • Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with Site Engineers, Section Heads, QA/QC, HSE, and other project teams.
  • Check materials, workmanship, and construction methods to ensure required standards are maintained.
  • Coordinate inspections and support the QA/QC team during WIRs and related inspections.
  • Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment requirements.
  • Identify site issues, delays, and technical problems and report them to the Site Engineer/Section Head.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices are maintained at all times.
  • Implement and enforce project HSE requirements on site.
  • Maintain daily site records and provide progress updates.
  • Coordinate interfaces between civil, structural, track, MEP, and other railway works where applicable.
  • Assist in resolving site coordination and construction issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–8 years of construction supervision experience.
  • Proven experience in railway, metro, rail infrastructure, or major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, site supervision, drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience supervising subcontractors and construction crews.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
  • Good knowledge of QA/QC and HSE requirements.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • Railway/Metro project experience is highly desirable.
