About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Site Surveyor to join our Fit-Out Factory team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting accurate site surveys and measurements to ensure that fit-out, joinery, and other factory-manufactured elements are produced and installed in accordance with approved drawings and actual site conditions.
The role involves close coordination with design, technical, production, project, and installation teams to verify dimensions, levels, and existing site conditions, ensuring accuracy throughout the fabrication and installation process across luxury residential, hospitality, retail, and mixed-use projects.
Responsibilities include
- Conduct detailed site surveys, measurements, and inspections for fit-out projects.
- Take accurate dimensions of existing site conditions, including walls, ceilings, floors, openings, MEP provisions, and other relevant elements.
- Prepare as-built drawings, site measurement drawings, and survey reports based on actual site conditions.
- Coordinate with Design, Technical, Production, and Project teams to ensure survey information is complete and accurate.
- Identify discrepancies between approved drawings and actual site conditions and report them accordingly.
- Verify dimensions and levels before fabrication and installation.
- Support the factory team by providing accurate site information for joinery, furniture, kitchen, bathroom, and other fit-out elements.
- Conduct site verification visits during fabrication and installation when required.
- Maintain proper records of measurements, drawings, photographs, and site documentation.
- Ensure all surveys are carried out in accordance with project requirements, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Here's what you'll need
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- At least years of experience as a Site Surveyor, preferably within fit-out, joinery, interior works, or manufacturing/factory environments.
- Strong knowledge of site measurements, levels, dimensions, and existing-condition surveys.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, joinery, and MEP drawings.
- Experience working with fit-out, joinery, kitchen, bathroom, or custom-made furniture is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
