We are looking for an experienced Sitecore Lead Developer with a deep understanding of the software development life cycle and Sitecore development best practices to lead large project teams to design and implement end-to-end Sitecore digital solutions.

Responsibilities and Performance metrics:

As a Sitecore Lead Developer, you will take a hands-on leadership role in the delivery of modern Sitecore solutions across CMS and composable DXP implementations. You'll work closely with Technical Architects, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to lead the development of complex, enterprise-scale web applications using Sitecore XP and Sitecore XM Cloud.

This role blends expert-level engineering skills with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring developers, enforcing code quality, and ensuring technical alignment with solution architecture. You will play a critical part in translating business needs into secure, scalable, and performant technical solutions.

Technical Ownership:

• Lead development activities for Sitecore solutions across XP and XM Cloud platforms.
• Build and extend Sitecore components using Helix principles and headless architecture approaches.
• Implement front-end experiences using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Next.js.
• Translate solution architecture into executable technical tasks and ensure alignment across the development team.
• Develop integrations with external systems such as CRMs, DAMs, analytics platforms, and marketing tools.

Team Leadership:

• Set development standards and ensure code quality through code reviews, technical mentorship, and enforcement of best practices.
• Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for development tasks on projects.
• Support onboarding of new team members and help drive continuous improvement within the team

Cross-functional Collaboration.

• Collaborate with Technical Architects, Project Managers, QA, and UX teams to deliver solutions that meet both business and technical goals.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Communicate development progress, risks, and issues clearly and proactively

Platform Expertise and Innovation.

• Stay current on Sitecore product updates and evolving best practices in composable DXP, XM Cloud, and headless delivery.
• Implement Sitecore features such as personalization, analytics, search, and workflow.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical documentation.

Requirements:

§ B.E. Computer Science or related field.

§ Minimum of 10+ years of experience architecting and delivering enterprise digital solutions.

§ Minimum of 5 years of Sitecore experience.

§ Strong proficient and proven track record in delivering enterprise Sitecore solutions using the following latest technologies.

§ Deep experience with Sitecore XP and XM Cloud, including SXA, Headless, JSS.

§ Modern JS frameworks like REACT, Next.js.

§ Microsoft Azure and deeper understanding of Azure App services, Docker, Containerization, Kubernetes.

§ Experience with Headless implementations.

§ Strong background in agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and testing automation.

§ Sitecore certification required (XP 10, XM Cloud); additional MACH/Cloud certifications a plus.

§ Experience integrating a variety of 3rd party systems.

§ Experience in e-commerce technology is a strong plus.

§ Strong understanding of Agile Development Methodology.

§ Prior experience working in consulting or agency environments preferred.
