About the Role:

A Skid Steer Operator in a water pipeline construction prject is responsible for safely operating skid-steer loaders (commonly called Bobcats) to support excavation, pipe laying, backfilling, material handling, and site preparation activities.

Qualifications:

• A high school graduate or ALS certificate
• Valid heavy equipment operator license or certification (TESDA NCII)
• Minimum 2 years experience in operating skid steer machines, preferrably Bobcat, n utility or pipeline projects.
• Knowledge of trench safety and underground utility protection.
• Ability to work in a team and follow site instructions.

Task Description:

• Operate skid steer equipment safely and efficiently on pipeline construction sites.
• Assist with trench excavation, backfilling, grading, and levelling for water pipeline installation.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials such as pipes, sand, gravel, and tools.
• Support pipeline crews during pipe laying, compaction, and site cleanup activities
• Follow excavation drawings, supervisor instructions, and site safety procedures.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Ensure proper use of attachments such as buckets, breakers, augers, and forks.
• Maintain safe working distances around underground utilities and existing services.
• Coordinate with supervisors, surveyors, and other equipment operators on-site.
