Job Description

SME Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) clients by providing tailored financial solutions, ensuring high-quality service, and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with SME clients, understanding their financial needs and providing customized banking solutions.
  • Business Development: Identify and acquire new SME clients, leveraging market insights, referrals, and networking opportunities.
  • Financial Solutions: Offer appropriate banking products and services, including financing solutions, cash management, trade finance, and digital banking.
  • Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage the performance of assigned SME accounts, ensuring profitability, risk management, and compliance with bank policies.
  • Credit Analysis: Assess clients financial statements, evaluate creditworthiness, and collaborate with the credit team to structure suitable financing options.
  • Cross-Selling: Promote and cross-sell various banking products, including deposits, loans, and treasury solutions, to maximize revenue.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to enhance client engagement and business growth.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal policies, banking regulations, and risk management guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SME banking, relationship management, or business banking.
  • Strong understanding of SME financial needs, lending solutions, and credit analysis.
  • Proven track record in business development and portfolio growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
