Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Smelting Chief to lead gold smelting and bullion production operations, with specific expertise in tunnel furnace systems. This role is responsible for stable furnace operation, bullion quality consistency, and disciplined smelting execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead daily gold smelting and tunnel furnace operations

Manage smelting and casting teams with strong shift discipline and safety focus

Control furnace parameters, throughput, and metallurgical stability

Ensure bullion quality: purity compliance, weight accuracy, and surface finish

Monitor slag handling, metal recovery efficiency, and loss minimization

Coordinate closely with the Laboratory for sampling, assays, and release protocols

Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective actions

Maintain shift logs, production records, and handover documentation

Requirements

Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in gold smelting and bullion production

Proven operational experience with tunnel furnaces and gold bar manufacturing

Background from major professional gold refineries strongly preferred

Strong understanding of smelting chemistry and furnace operations

High safety awareness and shopfloor leadership capability

Currently residing in Dubai or able to relocate to Dubai
