Hiring: SOC Analyst (Incident Response / Threat Hunting Consultant)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Work Setup: Onsite (Monday–Friday)

Employment Setup: Independent Contractor/Freelance

Open for candidates outside GCC but relocations costs is not covered (Airfare, accommodation etc.)

We're looking for an experienced cybersecurity professional with a strong background in Security Operations and hands-on experience in Incident Response, Threat Hunting, and Incident Triaging to join a high-profile project based in Abu Dhabi. This has a rolling contract with initial project duration of 6 months (minimum).

We're particularly interested in candidates who started their careers within a Security Operations Centre (SOC) and have since moved into dedicated Incident Response or Threat Hunting teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to security incidents across enterprise environments.
• Perform incident triage, analysis, containment, and remediation activities.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify potential threats before they become incidents.
• Analyse security events and alerts from SIEM, EDR, and other security platforms.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to strengthen detection and response capabilities.
• Document findings, root cause analyses, and post-incident recommendations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience within a SOC environment (Tier 2/Tier 3 preferred).
• Current or recent experience in Incident Response, Threat Hunting, DFIR, or Security Operations.
• Strong experience with security monitoring, incident triaging, and investigation.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR technologies such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Cortex XDR, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Location & Visa Requirements:

• Must be able to work onsite in Abu Dhabi, Monday to Friday.
• Candidates must already hold a valid UAE Golden Visa or Freelance Visa.
