Job Description

Job Title: Social Media Executive

Location: Dubai, UAE

Salary: AED 14,000 per month

Sector: Agency - Government / Tourism Accounts

We are working with a leading agency in Dubai that is looking for a Social Media Executive to join their team, working across high-profile tourism and government clients. This is a fast-paced environment where you will be supporting the delivery of best-in-class social content, community management, and campaign execution across multiple platforms.

Role Overview

The Social Media Executive will be responsible for day-to-day management of social channels across key accounts, ensuring content is locally relevant, culturally appropriate, and aligned to broader campaign objectives. You will work closely with strategists, creatives, and account teams to bring campaigns to life across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day social media activity across multiple tourism and government accounts
  • Schedule, publish, and optimise content across platforms
  • Support in the development of social-first content ideas tailored to different audiences
  • Monitor community engagement and respond in a timely and appropriate tone of voice
  • Track performance metrics and support in reporting insights and learnings
  • Work closely with designers and copywriters to ensure content is platform best-practice
  • Stay up to date with social trends, especially within tourism, culture, and destination marketing
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and government communication standards where relevant

Requirements

  • 2-4 years experience in social media, ideally within an agency environment
  • Strong exposure to tourism, destination marketing, or government clients is essential
  • Confident managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt tone of voice for different audiences, including formal government comms and consumer-facing tourism content
  • Experience working with content calendars and scheduling tools
  • Arabic language skills would be a strong advantage but not essential
