SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are on the lookout for a seasoned government accounts Social Media Account Manager to join our vibrant team. Your mission To be the ultimate connector between our clients dreams and our agency's creative magic!

You'll bring solid experience in managing social media accounts and coordinating engaging content calendars that not only captivate audiences but also spotlight key business moments. Plus, you'll work hand-in-hand with our creative team to turn big ideas into scroll-stopping content!

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media and Client Management:

  • Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, pain points and business goals.
  • Translate client news, announcements, key brand messages, events, general updates and objectives into well considered and strategically planned social media calendars.
  • Ideation and research for new content ideas for key accounts.
  • Working with the Creative Team to brief business requirements concisely to allow for them to ideate impactful ways to convey information visually.
  • Supporting with Community Management, ensuring that outreach and responses are on-point, timely and on-brand.
  • Work with specialists across creative, and copywriting to brief requirements and integrate these into project plans, reflecting realistic timeframes.
  • Ensuring all team members are clear on briefs, deliverables, timelines, and requirements and how these feed into the overarching objectives and goals of the business.
  • Coordinates meetings and calls, both internally within the agency and with the client. Additionally coordinates all other cross-team requirements such as photoshoots etc.
  • Working with our agency-wide project management and reporting tools, you will be technically savvy and able to turn your hand to new platforms.
  • Attending live events for content creation and/or client and project management is expected as part of the role (occasionally occurring on evenings and/or weekends)
  • Account Management:
  • Adherence to the Cosmopole account management way (with the support of the Client Services Director where / when relevant).
  • Compilation of monthly reports, insights, and recommendations.
  • Contract management (scope of work, resources, deliverables).
  • Issues management (following the Cosmopole way to mitigate risks).

Quality Control:

  • Guide and mentor agency team members, ensuring all deliverables are top-notch and in sync with the overarching strategy.
  • Provide a critical eye over all deliverables, ensuring that they are of a high quality and in-line with client expectations and meet key objectives.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain consistency and excellence across all deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Social Media Management within a marketing or communications agency setting, in a client focused role.
  • Prior experience with Abu Dhabi government and/or semi government accounts (agency or inhouse) is mandatory.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for problem-solving and negotiation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, juggling multiple projects with finesse.
  • Ability to multitask between multiple projects and brands.
  • A sense of humour and a positive attitude – we believe work should be fun!
  • Based in Abu Dhabi on a full-time basis.
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Expert communications skills in English and Arabic (written and verbal).
