Social Media and Marketing Intern

Dreamcore is looking for a Social Media and Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. This is

a hands-on creative role for someone who enjoys creating content, keeping up with social

media trends, and bringing fresh ideas to life. You'll be involved in the entire content creation

process, from brainstorming and planning to filming, editing, and publishing content across our

social media platforms.

We're looking for someone who's creative, proactive, and comfortable experimenting with new

ideas. You don't need to be a PC expert, but an interest in gaming, technology, and internet

culture is definitely a plus.

What you'll do

• Assist in planning and creating engaging content for Dreamcore's social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
• Brainstorm creative content ideas, campaigns, and concepts that align with Dreamcore.
• Assist with filming and editing short-form videos like Reels, TikToks etc.
• Write engaging captions and social media copy tailored to different platforms.
• Stay updated on social media trends, memes, and emerging content formats.
• Assist in managing the social media content calendar and scheduling posts.
• Track basic content performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support marketing campaigns, product launches, promotional activities, and events.
• Work closely with the marketing team to execute content ideas.
• Assist with photography and other marketing-related tasks when required.

What we're looking for

• Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
• Basic video editing skills using tools (Capcut preferred)
• Good written and spoken English, with the ability to write engaging social media copy.
• Creative mindset with the confidence to suggest and experiment with new ideas.
• Good understanding of current social media trends and online culture.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work collaboratively with the team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Short-form video production, including filming, lighting, and editing
• Photography and basic camera operation.
• Gaming, esports, PC hardware, or technology-related content.
• Appearing on camera or participating in social media videos.

Prior professional marketing experience is not required. We care more about your creativity, willingness to learn, and ability to turn ideas into engaging content. If you've been creating TikToks, editing videos, designing graphics, or managing your own social media pages, we'd love to see what you've made.
