Role Overview
The Content Creator sits at the intersection of production, post-production, and creative strategy. The successful candidatewill plan, shoot, edit, and strategically develop contentfor VYVE
and its portfolio of clients, producing work that performs both culturally and commercially.
You will be embedded in an agile, fast-movingcreative environmentwhere quality is non-negotiable and the expectations are high. You will be expected to bring ideas to the table unprompted, execute at a professional standard, and continuously raise the bar on what VYVE content looks and feels
like.
Content Production & Filming & On-Ground Execution
1) Operate equipment (either DSLR or iPhone) across a range of shoot types including brand films,
social content, behind-the-scenes, product showcases, events, and talking-head interviews.
2) Set up, manage, and optimise basic lighting rigs and audio capture to ensure professional-grade
output in varied environments.
3) Direct or co-direct shoots where required, briefing talent, managing on-set logistics, maintaining
shoot schedules, and ensuring creative alignment with the approved brief.
4) Adapt shooting style and technique to platform requirements; vertical (9:16) for Reels and TikTok,
horizontal (16:9) for YouTube and brand films, square (1:1) for feed content.
5) Maintain, handle, and safeguard all equipment, flagging any servicing or upgrade requirements to
management.
6) Represent VYVE and its clients professionally on-set and on-location at all times.
Post-Production Editing & Delivery
1) Edit video content end-to-end, cutting, colour grading, sound design, captioning, and final export
across all required formats and aspect ratios.
2) Work fluently in industry-standard editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and/or
DaVinci Resolve. Proficiency in CapCut Pro is a strong advantage.
3) Develop and maintain brand-consistent edit styles per client, managing templates, preset packs,
and identity systems.
4) 5) Execute fast-turnaround edits for reactive and trend-led content without compromising quality.
Manage and organise all raw footage and project files in a structured, retrievable system,
maintaining version control and archival discipline.
6) Incorporate animated subtitles, lower thirds, and branded overlays in line with each client's visual
identity.
7) Deliver content in formats optimised for each platform's algorithm and viewer behaviour,
including hook-optimised openings, pacing calibrated to retention, and platform-native aspect
ratios.
8) Collaborate with the graphic design team on static assets, thumbnails, cover frames, and
supplementary visual materials.
Content Strategy & Ideation
1) Develop original content concepts and series ideas for VYVE and client accounts, grounded in
brand strategy, audience insight, and platform behaviour.
2) Contribute to and lead content calendar planning, proposing formats, themes, and narratives
aligned with campaign objectives and brand tone.
3) Stay continuously informed on social media trends, emerging content formats, platform algorithm
updates, and creator economy shifts, translating observations into actionable recommendations.
4) Script short-form video content including hooks, voiceovers, captions, and on-screen text where
required.
5) 6) Produce content briefs and shot lists ahead of shoots to ensure aligned execution.
Participate actively in creative brainstorming sessions, bringing original thinking and a distinct
creative point of view.
7) Analyse content performance data in collaboration with the strategy team, identifying what works,
what to iterate, and what to retire.
8) Develop platform-specific content strategies for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X,
understanding the distinct audience psychology and format logic of each.
Client-Facing & Cross-Functional Collaboration
1) Participate in client briefing sessions to capture brand direction, tone of voice, and visual
references.
2) Present content ideas, shot lists, and edit previews to internal stakeholders and clients with clarity
and creative confidence.
3) Collaborate closely with the strategy, PR, and influencer teams to ensure content aligns with
broader campaign narratives and earned media angles.
4) Manage multiple concurrent projects across different clients without sacrificing quality or missing
deadlines.
Qualifications & Experience Essentials
a) 24 years of professional experience in content creation, video production, or a directly adjacent
field, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end capability (ideation filming editing
delivery).
b) Demonstrable proficiency in at least one professional editing suite (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut
Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
c) A strong portfolio of short-form social content; Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, with evidence of
original thinking and platform-aware execution.
d) Sound understanding of colour grading principles and the ability to produce a consistent, polished
grade without relying solely on LUTs.
e) f) Strong communication skills in Arabic and English, written and verbal.
Ability to work independently, take creative ownership, and deliver under pressure in a fast-paced
environment.
Preferred / Advantageous
a) Experience working within a brand, agency, or consultancy environment, understanding client
briefs and managing stakeholder expectations.
b) Proficiency in CapCut Pro.
c) d) Understanding of SEO and discoverability principles as they apply to YouTube and TikTok.
Background in or strong appreciation of brand strategy, marketing, and the creator economy, the
ability to think beyond the frame.
e) Experience shooting and editing content in GCC markets.
