placemaker is hiring on behalf of a leading events and exhibitions organiser based in sharjah.
this role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, knows how to juggle multiple accounts, and understands how social media comes to life around live events, exhibitions, and campaigns.
what you'll be doing
- develop and execute social media strategies across multiple exhibitions and projects
- create engaging, high-quality content including posts, stories, and reels tailored to each platform (instagram, facebook, linkedin, x/twitter, etc.)
- plan, manage, and maintain content calendars for each exhibition or project
- manage and publish content across multiple social media accounts while ensuring consistency in tone and brand messaging
- actively monitor channels, engage with audiences, and respond to comments and inquiries in a timely manner
- work closely with internal teams to align social activity with event timelines, launches, and on-ground moments
- track performance, spot opportunities for improvement, and optimise content accordingly
- stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep content relevant and effective
what we're looking for
- bilingual (arabic & english) is essential
- 23 years of experience in social media management
- experience within events, exhibitions, or live environments is highly preferred
- agency background is a strong advantage
- proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- strong content creation skills with an eye for detail and storytelling
- organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
