Social Media Manager (Bilingual – Arabic/English)
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Media Manager to take ownership of a high-profile, large-scale account within a complex and fast-paced environment.
This role is suited to a confident, strategic thinker who can operate with a high level of autonomy, manage senior stakeholders, and lead end-to-end social media delivery—from strategy through to execution.
The Role
- Lead the full onboarding and setup of a major account, defining a comprehensive 360° social media strategy, tone of voice, and governance processes
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, offering strategic guidance on digital trends and social performance
- Oversee and coordinate a dedicated team, ensuring all output from content to reporting meets the highest quality standards
- Take ownership of real-time decision-making across content and community management, particularly in high-pressure situations
- Develop and oversee high-quality Arabic content that is culturally relevant and resonates with diverse audiences
- Manage social media operations for live events, including real-time content creation, publishing, and on-ground coordination
Requirements
- Experience in social media, ideally within an agency or public sector environment
- Proven experience in a senior role managing complex or high-profile accounts (government or semi-government exposure is highly advantageous)
- Native Arabic speaker with strong professional English communication skills
- Experience working closely with senior leadership, with the confidence to present, influence, and challenge when needed
- Strong operational mindset with the ability to manage workflows, optimise processes, and drive account performance
- Hands-on experience with social listening and publishing tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Sprout Social)
