Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to manage and grow the personal brand and online presence of the Managing Director across all major social media platforms. The role will be responsible for developing engaging content, managing daily interactions, and building a strong digital presence that aligns with the MD's vision, leadership voice, and company values.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive personal branding social media strategy for the MD.
  • Manage the MD's presence across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar aligned with the MD's activities, events, and company milestones.

Content Creation

  • Write high-quality posts, captions, articles, and thought-leadership content reflecting the MD's voice.
  • Coordinate and produce photos, short videos, reels, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to highlight business achievements, industry insights, and leadership perspectives.

Engagement & Community Management

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions professionally.
  • Engage with industry leaders, partners, and followers to grow the MD's network and influence.
  • Manage reputation and ensure brand consistency across all platforms.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track performance metrics including reach, engagement, follower growth, and audience insights.
  • Provide regular reports with recommendations to improve performance.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and digital communication best practices.

Coordination & Event Coverage

  • Support live social media coverage of events, conferences, speaking engagements, and interviews.
  • Work closely with PR, marketing, and design teams for campaign alignment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.
  • 36+ years of experience in social media management, preferably handling executive or personal brand accounts.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing LinkedIn thought leadership content.
  • Proficiency with social media tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or similar platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Canva / Adobe) and video editing is an advantage.
  • Preferred American/ British/ Canadian/ Australian or European nationals.
