About the Role

We're looking for a Social Media Manager to own content strategy and execution across channels, with a focus on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts. We're at an inflection point - moving from ad-hoc content to becoming a true content machine, with short-form video at the center. This is a hybrid strategist/creator role: you'll set the content direction and calendar, but you'll also be hands-on - filming, scripting, and hopping on camera yourself when needed. You'll work with a videographer and editor to scale production, but the creative instinct and platform fluency need to come from you. We need someone who is genuinely, chronically online - who lives inside these platforms, spots trends before they peak, and knows intuitively what will and won't work.

What You'll Do

  • Own social content strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts - with a strong focus on short-form video
  • Build and manage a consistent content calendar, balancing trend-driven, always-on content with campaign-specific pushes
  • Personally create content - scripting, filming, and appearing on camera where it fits - not just directing others
  • Brief, direct, and manage a videographer and editor to scale production output
  • Stay constantly plugged into platform trends, formats, sounds, and culture, and translate them into timely, on-brand content
  • Track content performance (views, engagement, follower growth, watch time) and iterate based on what's working
  • Partner with Performance Marketing and Design to align organic content with paid and brand campaigns
  • Manage community engagement and monitor brand sentiment across platforms
  • Experiment with new formats and platforms as they emerge

What We're Looking For

  • 4-6+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field, with a track record of growing short-form video channels
  • A genuine, demonstrable presence in social media culture - you follow trends closely and have strong instincts for what performs
  • Hands-on content creation skills: comfortable scripting, filming, and being on camera (portfolio/reel required)
  • Experience managing freelancers or external production resources
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook)
  • Data-informed approach - comfortable using platform analytics to guide content decisions
  • Excellent communication and project management skills; able to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution
  • A strong sense of brand voice and ability to adapt tone across platforms
  • Video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
  • Existing personal following or creator experience
