As a Social Media Intern, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to grow the brand's presence across digital platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook. You will assist in translating marketing goals into viral-worthy, visually appealing, and engaging content that resonates with the target audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Film and edit short-form videos (Reels/TikToks) and design graphics using tools like Canva and CapCut.
- Copywriting: Draft catchy captions and engaging copy tailored to different platform algorithms and audience personas.
- Calendar Management: Assist in planning, organizing, and scheduling daily/weekly social media posts using platforms like Meta Business Suite.
- Trend Research: Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and trending audio/formats to keep the brand relevant.
- Community Engagement: Respond to user comments, direct messages, and interact with followers to build brand loyalty.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track follower growth, engagement rates, and compile performance metrics to evaluate the success of campaigns.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, with a proven ability to capture and edit video content on a mobile phone.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with photo and video editing software (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, a proactive and creative mindset, and strong organizational skills.
