The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Mid-Level Social Media Specialist to join our growing team. You are more than just a poster; you are a strategic thinker who understands how social media integrates into the broader advertising landscape. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing social media strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients, turning creative ideas into engaging content that builds community, enhances brand loyalty, and achieves key business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Develop comprehensive, integrated social media strategies aligned with client marketing and advertising goals (e.g., brand awareness, lead generation, engagement).
- Content Creation & Curation: Create high-quality, engaging, and platform-specific content (including graphics, short-form video, and copy) that tells a brand's story and resonates with target audiences.
- Community Management: Serve as the voice of our clients online. Proactively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive and active community.
- Paid Social Advertising: Plan, execute, and manage paid social media campaigns (e.g., Meta/Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest) to amplify reach and drive conversions. Manage budgets and perform A/B testing.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using native and third-party tools. Translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their business, present strategies, and report on campaign performance, building strong and trusting relationships.
- Trendspotting: Stay ahead of the curve on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms, recommending innovative ideas to keep our clients at the forefront.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional social media management experience, preferably within an advertising agency or a fast-paced marketing environment.
- Platform Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of major social platforms (Meta Business Suite, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Pinterest) and their best practices.
- Paid Social Proficiency: Proven experience managing paid social campaigns with a clear understanding of bidding, targeting, and optimization techniques.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite) and the ability to derive meaning from data.
- Creative Flair: Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills. Experience with content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Premiere Pro), or CapCut is a plus.
- Excellent Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and confidently to both internal teams and clients.
- Team Player & Self-Starter: Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment, both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
