Position Overview
We are seeking a highly creative Social Media Specialist with a strong focus on videography and short-form video content creation (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) . You will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging content that showcases our hardware products, builds brand awareness, and drives engagement across all social platforms . This role requires a unique blend of creative vision, hands-on video production skills, and a deep understanding of social media trends.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Video Production
- Create Reels and Videos: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form videos (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) that highlight product features, unboxings, tutorials, and behind-the-scenes content .
- Photography: Capture high-quality photos of products for use on social media and marketing materials .
- Storytelling: Develop creative concepts and visual narratives that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand identity .
- Trend Integration: Stay on top of social media trends, sounds, and challenges, and creatively incorporate them into branded content to maximize reach and engagement .
Social Media Management & Strategy
- Platform Management: Manage day-to-day activities across all major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn), including posting, scheduling, and community engagement .
- Content Calendar: Develop and manage a monthly content calendar aligned with product launches, marketing campaigns, and industry events .
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner .
- Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) to provide insights and optimize future content strategies .
Collaboration & Campaign Support
- Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure content is aligned with brand messaging and campaign objectives .
- Support both organic and paid social media campaigns by creating high-performing content assets .
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify trends and successful strategies in the hardware industry .
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist, Content Creator, or similar role, preferably within the hardware, tech, or consumer electronics industry .
- Videography & Editing: Proven experience in shooting and editing professional-quality videos for social media. Proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut) is essential .
- Photography: Strong photography skills with knowledge of lighting and composition .
- Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, including algorithm best practices and content formats .
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating your skills in videography, photography, and content creation for social media .
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic .
- Independence: Self-motivated and capable of working independently while also being a collaborative team player .
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)
- Experience in the hardware or consumer electronics industry .
- Familiarity with AI production tools (Midjourney, Runway, etc.) is a plus.
- Experience with social media advertising and paid campaigns .
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) .
