Job Purpose:
The Freelance Social Media Specialist is responsible for strategizing, creating/producing, and publishing social media content, managing community management and influencer campaigns for the Grandiose.
This includes in-store and event content shooting, editing and daily posting in alignment with the social media calendar. The candidate should have a fast turnaround of content and the ability to manage all social media channels in a high-paced, retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Production
- The content should align with the Grandiose Brand guidelines while being in line with current trends and social media algorithms.
- Edit content using CapCut and Canva with rapid turnaround timelines.
- Manage content and produce high-quality video and static content using an iPhone (camera experience is a plus).
Social Media Management
- Manage daily posting across all channels.
- Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with trade calendar and events.
- Monitor accounts, community management (including Google reviews), and track performance insights.
- Provide weekly reports for management review.
- Channel Competency: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook.
Event Coverage
- Be present at all events to capture real-time content.
- Deliver same-day or next-day edits when required.
Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with the Creative team and Marketing department on large production content needs.
- Provide on-ground support during photo/video shoots.
- Ensure all social media content aligns with marketing objectives and service quality standards.
Required Skills and Requirements
Experience & work Requirements:
- 24 years of experience in social media content creation (F&B or Luxury Retail experience is an advantage).
- Flexible to work in office and event site.
- Frequent on-ground presence at event locations across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in shooting and editing content using iPhone.
- Proficient in CapCut and Canva for editing (mandatory).
- Basic knowledge of camera usage is a plus.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Agile, responsive, and able to manage last-minute requests.

Equipment Requirements
- Must own a personal iPhone with good camera capabilities.
- Having own personal equipment (gimbal, tripod) will be an advantage.
