Role Overview

FAME is looking for aSocial Media Strategistto lead theperformance and strategy of organic contentacross client accounts.

This role sits betweencreative and analytics. You will analyze what content works, identify patterns in performance, and guide the team on what to produce next.

You will work closely with ourcontent creators, designers, and account managersto ensure that content is not just being posted, butconsistently improving in reach, engagement, and impact.

This role is ideal for someone who understandshow social media platforms work, can interpret data quickly, and can turn insights into clear creative direction.

Key Responsibilities

Own Organic Content Performance

  • Track and analyze performance across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Identify trends in reach, engagement, saves, shares, and watch time
  • Determine what content formats, topics, and hooks perform best

Guide Content Strategy

  • Translate performance insights into actionable direction for the content team
  • Recommend content formats, posting strategies, and creative approaches
  • Continuously refine content calendars based on performance data

Develop Content Frameworks

  • Create repeatable content formats and series for client accounts
  • Build hook libraries, format libraries, and storytelling frameworks
  • Test different formats and optimize based on results

Collaborate With the Creative Team

  • Work closely with content creators and designers to guide production
  • Provide input on video structure, hooks, pacing, and storytelling
  • Ensure content aligns with both brand positioning and platform behavior

Monitor Industry and Platform Trends

  • Stay up to date on algorithm changes, content trends, and emerging formats
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation

Performance Reporting

  • Deliver clear, insight-driven reports on content performance
  • Translate analytics into strategic recommendations for clients

Requirements
  • 25 years of experiencein social media strategy, digital marketing, or content strategy
  • Strong understanding ofInstagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube algorithms
  • Experience analyzing social media analytics and translating data into strategy
  • Strong understanding ofcontent formats, hooks, storytelling, and audience behavior
  • Ability to identify why content succeeds or fails
  • Experience working inagency or multi-account environmentsis preferred
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
