Social Worker to join our team at
Prime National Schools - Scholar's International Language School. The Social Worker will play a vital role in supporting the emotional, social, and academic well-being of our students, working closely with families, teachers, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges
- Assess students needs and develop tailored intervention plans to support their well-being
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive and supportive school environment
- Engage with parents and families to enhance support structures for students
- Coordinate with external agencies and professionals to advocate for student needs and resources
- Facilitate training workshops for staff on social-emotional learning and support strategies
- Maintain detailed records and reports of services provided, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school policies
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of policies and practices that promote student welfare
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field; master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children and families in a school or community setting
- Strong understanding of child development, mental health issues, and social services
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations and implement culturally responsive practices
- Relevant certification or licensure in social work is an advantage
