Soft Services trainer

Role Description The Soft Services Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for soft services teams (such as housekeeping, cleaning, and support services staff). The role involves conducting classroom and on-the-job training sessions, preparing training materials, and ensuring that all team members understand and follow company standards, safety procedures, and client-specific requirements. The trainer will monitor performance, provide coaching and feedback, and work closely with operations and quality teams to identify skill gaps and training needs. The role also includes maintaining accurate training records, supporting onboarding and refresher training, and contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or soft services operations, with a strong understanding of housekeeping, cleaning, and support service standards.
• Must possess a valid driving license (required for mobile site visits and field training).
• Demonstrated training, coaching, and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver both classroom and on-the-job training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse teams and collaborate with operations and quality stakeholders.
• Ability to develop training materials, conduct assessments, and use basic digital tools (e.g., MS Office, learning aids) to support training delivery.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene practices relevant to facilities management environments.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to plan training schedules and manage multiple training programs.
• Prior experience in a training or supervisory role within FM, hospitality, or service industries is highly beneficial.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in training or FM are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Cairo and adapt to shifting client and operational requirements.
