About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at Arabian Control. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing control systems that align with client specifications and industry standards. This role requires a strong technical background in automation and control engineering, along with excellent problem-solving skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, troubleshoot system issues, and provide ongoing support to clients post-installation. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for innovation in automation technology.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automation systems design, development, and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Professional certifications related to automation systems are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation control systems tailored to client requirements.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of control systems to verify performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after system deployment.
- Document system designs, configurations, and operational procedures thoroughly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging automation technologies.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
