Software Developer

Job Purpose:

The Job Holder is responsible to Support in Software development projects following all stages of design, development, coding, testing, and debugging to ensure achieving high level of Functionality and customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities:

• Software Development

− Assists in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using technologies such as .NET, React.js, Git, and relevant tools and frameworks.

− Collaborates with senior developers and cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of software solutions.

− Participates in code reviews, following coding standards and best practices to ensure the quality and maintainability of the codebase.

− Conducts unit testing under the guidance of senior developers to verify the functionality and identify and address any defects or issues.

− Assists in the implementation of secure coding practices, following established standards to ensure the security and integrity of software applications.

− Assists in troubleshooting and debugging software applications, collaborating with team members to identify and resolve technical issues.

• Task Management

− Works with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence to document tasks, track progress, and contribute to task completion.

• Continuous Improvement

- Participates in team meetings, providing input and ideas to improve development processes and enhance team efficiency.

- Learns and applies software development methodologies and practices, keeping up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

- Actively seeks opportunities for learning and growth, acquiring new skills and knowledge in the field of software development.

- Maintains effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments

Academic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science

Required Technical Skills:

• C# and modern .NET / ASP.NET Core Required Technical Skills • React, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS • REST APIs, JSON, SQL Server/T-SQL, and Git • Unit and integration testing; debugging and production troubleshooting • Secure coding, CI/CD fundamentals, technical documentation, Jira, and Confluence

Professional Experience:

03 - 04 years of overall experience in IT Function preferably in Software Development
