We are looking for a passionate and curious Golang Intern to join our backend engineering team. This internship is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in building high-performance, scalable systems using Go (Golang).
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of backend services and APIs using Go
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver reliable microservices
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices
- Debug, test, and optimize code for performance and scalability
- Learn and assist with containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
- Contribute to documentation and technical specs
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of Golang programming language
- Understanding of REST APIs and microservice architecture
- Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Exposure to Git, Docker, or any CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with Go through personal projects or coursework
- Exposure to message queues, API gateways, or cloud platforms
- Interest in distributed systems or high-concurrency applications
