Software Engineer

Role Overview

Our client's core Engineering team is looking for talented Software Engineers to help them build the next generation of their trading platform. You will be a key contributor to the design, implementation, and optimization of a high-frequency system where efficiency is the primary metric for success. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of sophisticated finance and low-level systems engineering, ensuring our infrastructure remains at the absolute forefront of speed and reliability.

Responsibilities

-Design and implement high-efficiency low-latency trading infrastructure, including market data feed handlers and exchange execution gateways.

-Design and build sophisticated risk-management systems and real-time performance-tracking tools.

-Facilitate the evolving needs of trading strategies by architecting scalable and resilient system interfaces.

-Assist in the development of systems that provide seamless access to historical market data and trading simulations.

-Build and maintain internal tools to analyze large datasets for market patterns and performance metrics.

-Optimize the platform using network and systems programming to achieve nanosecond-level performance improvements.

-Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including rigorous testing and

documentation of new features.

Qualifications

-A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.

-Strong foundational knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming, including memory management.

-A deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity.

-Familiarity with the Linux operating system and basic networking concepts like TCP/IP and UDP.

-Exposure to Python or shell scripting (Bash/Shell) for automation and data analysis.

-Brilliant problem-solving abilities and a passion for building extremely fast, robust systems.

-Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

-The candidate needs to be based out of Singapore already, the firm is unable to sponsor.
