Position Description

Module Lead – Software Engineer (Integration/Platform)

• The client is seeking a Module Lead – Software Engineer to join our Integration/Platform team, which powers critical communications across the client's Credit.
• In this individual contributor role, you will design and build event-driven, scalable, reliable, fault-tolerant, and resilient solutions within our platform ecosystem.
• This is more than a traditional backend engineering role. We are looking for an engineer who operates at the intersection of software engineering, AI-driven automation, and enterprise problem-solving, partnering with technology and product stakeholders to transform business requirements into practical solutions.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, event-driven integration and platform solutions.
• Collaborate with technology and product teams to understand business needs and user journeys, translating them into technical solutions.
• Operate as a Forward Deployed Engineer, working directly with stakeholders to scope, prototype, and rapidly deliver proof-of-concepts using a fail-fast approach.
• Build and integrate AI agents into enterprise workflows using the GCP and Claude ecosystems.
• Embrace a Human-Led, Agent-Assisted model, partnering with AI agents to accelerate engineering delivery and productivity.
• Apply DevSecOps practices, including monitoring, alerting, observability, and operational dashboards.
• Continuously identify opportunities to modernize, automate, and improve engineering processes through AI-enabled solutions. What We're Looking For Mindset & Ways of Working
• Self-motivated engineer who is genuinely AI-transformation ready.
• Comfortable working as a forward-deployed engineer, balancing technology expertise, stakeholder engagement, and solution delivery.
• Open to co-developing solutions alongside AI agents.
• Strong builder mindset with a focus on rapid experimentation, prototyping, and learning. Technical Skills
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience building and integrating AI agents using GCP and/or Claude ecosystem tools.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and SOAP/REST APIs.
• Experience developing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise across testing disciplines, including Unit, Integration, Regression, UAT, and Load Testing.
• Hands-on experience with TDD, JUnit, and Selenium.
• Familiarity with code quality and security tools such as 42Crunch, SonarQube, Checkmarx, or equivalent.
• Strong DevSecOps experience, including monitoring, alerting, and observability practices.
• Ideal Candidate We are looking for engineers who go beyond using AI copilots in an IDE.
• The ideal candidate has experience building AI agents, skills, and workflow automation solutions that solve real business problems.
• This role is best suited for an integration specialist with experience leveraging existing models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to deliver practical, production-grade solutions.
• This is not a model-development or ML research role.
  
  

Qualifications

• B.E., B.Tech., M.C.A., or equivalent technical degree.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with microservices architecture and SOAP/REST APIs.
• Demonstrated experience building solutions on GCP.
• Proven experience with TDD using JUnit and Selenium.
• Experience with code quality and security tools such as 42Crunch, SonarQube, and Checkmarx.

• Full Stack Engineer (AI-Augmented) Exp: Prac. in full-stack dev (web/backend/mobile) — working knowledge in 2+ areas
• Hands-on exp. w/ React.js / modern JS frontend frameworks (React preferred; Angular/Vue acceptable)
• Hands-on exp. w/ Java + Spring Boot (MVC, JDBC, Cloud) for backend/APIs
• Prac. exp. w/ HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, responsive UI design
• 1+ yr prac. exp. w/ AI-native coding tool (Copilot/Cursor/Claude Code)
• Working know. of GCP or equiv. cloud platform
• Basic know. of token/context optimization (.cursorignore, scoped referencing)
• Exp. w/ REST/SOAP APIs, CI/CD (GitHub, Jenkins), TDD (JUnit/Selenium/Jest)
