Role Summary
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Software Project Manager with 2 to 4 years of experience to help lead software development projects. Based in Riyadh, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions on time and within scope. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Agile methodologies, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and maintains strict operational discipline to support broader digital transformation initiatives across the Saudi market.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Tracking
- Project Delivery: Assist in managing the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from initiation to deployment, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and strict timelines.
- Meticulous Record-Keeping: Maintain absolute accuracy in project governance using EPM. Ensure all data fields are consistently populated, updated, and never left blank.
- Scope & Risk Management: Track project scope and identify potential technical or scheduling bottlenecks early, escalating risks to senior portfolio leadership when necessary.
- Transformation Support: Support large-scale digital transformation deployments, working alongside technical leads to ensure smooth rollouts.
Team Collaboration & Agile Processes
- Agile Facilitation: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to maintain team momentum and foster a collaborative environment.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work directly with Developers, UX/UI designers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to ensure task delegation aligns with project milestones.
- Performance Monitoring: Track team velocity and core project KPIs, utilizing MS Project and EPM to keep the project strictly on schedule.
Stakeholder Communication
- Rapid Response Standards: Maintain strict communication SLAs, including a mandatory maximum two-hour response window for all internal and stakeholder project emails during business hours.
- Status Reporting: Prepare clear, concise, and accurate status reports for internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring transparency regarding project health and progress.
- Client Engagement: Act as a reliable point of contact for clients on assigned projects in Riyadh, building trust through consistent delivery and professional communication.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience coordinating or managing software development projects within the Saudi Arabian tech market.
- Certifications:PMP or ITIL certification is required.
- Technical Acumen: Sufficient technical understanding to effectively communicate with software development teams and grasp basic architectural concepts.
