About The Role
Innovitics is seeking a highly driven and disciplined
Software Project Manager to lead end-to-end software delivery across engineering teams.
This is a
delivery leadership role, The role requires strong ownership, rigorous follow-up, and a deep sense of accountability to ensure all delivery commitments are met on time and with high quality.
The ideal candidate combines a solid technical background with exceptional delivery management skills and a data-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery Ownership & Execution
- Own and drive end-to-end delivery across projects, from planning to production release
- Define timelines, milestones, and release plans
- Ensure delivery commitments are met on time, within scope, and with high quality
- Drive daily and weekly delivery cadence and execution discipline
Monitoring & Follow-Up
- Maintain full visibility across all tasks, features, and bugs
- Track progress daily and proactively follow up with teams
- Identify, manage, and escalate risks and blockers early
- Ensure delivery tracking accuracy and adherence to processes
Performance & Metrics
- Track key delivery metrics (velocity, predictability, cycle time, defect leakage)
- Build and maintain dashboards using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Use data insights to drive continuous improvement
- Report delivery status, risks, and performance to leadership
Team Management & Accountability
- Manage cross-functional teams (Backend, Frontend, Mobile, QA, DevOps)
- Set clear goals, priorities, and ownership across teams
- Conduct regular 1:1s and address performance gaps
- Foster a high-performance, accountability-driven culture
Risk Management & Problem Solving
- Identify risks and dependencies early and define mitigation plans
- Ensure release readiness and production stability
- Lead incident management and post-mortem processes
- Coordinate across teams to ensure seamless delivery
Requirements
- 6-10+ years of experience in software engineering or delivery roles
- Minimum 3 years in a delivery management or technical leadership role
- Proven track record of delivering complex software projects end-to-end
- Strong understanding of modern technology stacks:
- Backend (.NET, APIs, Microservices)
- Frontend (React or similar frameworks)
- Mobile development
- Familiarity with system design, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and databases
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments
