Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Description

This is a remote, contract position for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications through manual testing and quality assurance practices. Daily tasks include designing and executing test plans, identifying and documenting bugs, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues, and ensuring software meets the defined standards and requirements. You will play a key role in refining and improving software products before they reach the end-users.

Qualifications

Expertise in Software Quality Assurance, Software Quality, and Quality Assurance processes

Proficiency in Manual Testing practices and methodologies

Familiarity with Software Development processes and workflows

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and ability to document test results effectively

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred

Experience with tools and techniques relevant to quality assurance and testing is a plus
