Software Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

Design and write Test Cases.

Perform different types of testing (exploratory, functional testing, performance testing,

confirmation testing, etc.).

Create Test Scripts for Newly Added features.

Involve in Sprints planning to define Changing Scope.

Maintain Testing checklist, keep it up to date.

Participate in testing discussions/scrum meetings.

Participate in developing Test Cases that verify that all Project Requirements are met.

Documenting step-by-step procedure for carrying out test cases.

Executing, completing, and documenting all assigned test cases during an (AGILE) testing Sprint.

Creating tickets for issues discovered during testing, as well as updating and closing tickets.

Collaborating with the development team on issues discovered during testing.

Provide and participate in making test estimates and test strategies.

Support production users of our tools on issues discovered in production.

Analyzing the issue and creating tickets against the appropriate team.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or a related field

Solid experience in Software Development.

Solid experience in using Api Test technologies such as Postman.

Good knowledge in Software development lifecycle.

Good knowledge in Object-oriented programming.

Hands-on experience in manual, exploratory, and functional testing.

Knowledge of Test Methodologies, Software Development process and Testing lifecycle.

Nice to Have

Experience in Automation Testing Frameworks

Experience with Selenium and Appium is a plus

Experience with Jmeter and Jenkins is a plus

Familiar with BDD framework is a plus

Performance and Load testing is a plus
